Working in Collective

Tell us about your work. Partner with us.

We are building a community to challenge the status quo and reimagine a world where everyone has equal access to opportunity. We exist and operate in a world fueled by extractive, exploitative systems that ultimately harm us all.

Our approach to decolonizing our practice is deeply rooted in the scholarship of black queer feminist theory, indigenous wisdom, and in the histories of struggle for liberation globally.

We use the following frameworks to guide us as we explore with our community partners to do better for each other, ourselves and the planet:

Barrio Alegria

Capacity Catalyst

Newburgh LGBTQ+ Center

Forge Project

Advocates for Urban Agriculture

Fareground

This list is comprised of organizations we admire, support and work with in our individual communities, as well as BIPOC organizations and collectives. Check out their websites, support their work, donate to them!

We learn from these organizations everyday. We are not experts in the needs of their communities or their unique experiences. They know better than we do, and we learn from them.
